Web resources on toleration and respect

Members of the Balphin.org and PPhil students may be interested in the new website of a research project, RESPECT, devoted to issues of respect and toleration. Click HERE to reach RESPECT website.

The RESPECT research project aims to address issues of toleration and respect in the distribution of public spaces. Specifically, it will explore the extent to which the implementation of toleration-inspired spatial policies risks undermining the pursuit of such basic democratic commitments as those to equality and social cohesion, and – if so – what conception of toleration may be invoked to limit such a risk.

The website contains a multidisciplinary and multilingual thematic bibliography, working papers and an agenda of events.
